Beedeez Raises €8 Million to Continue Developing Its Learning Platform for Frontline Employees
How can companies make it easier for mobile and frontline workers to upskill? Beedeez has completed an €8 million funding round to accelerate its positioning in this space.
The company brought together a pool of investors including Arkéa Capital (through its impact fund We Positive Invest 2), the family office Wille Finance, and SWEN Capital Partners. The financing package is complemented by a loan from banking partners. “With this Series A, Beedeez is completing its first fundraising round,” explains Julien Huelvan, CEO and co founder of the LMS provider.
He outlined the company’s key development priorities:
“Maintain our position as the benchmark for frontline training, with an LMS created by frontline teams, for frontline teams.
Accelerate R&D initiatives around AI, particularly by developing a new coaching feature that will enable personalized content delivery between coaches and learners.
Broaden the range of technical and educational functionalities.
Further enhance the learning experience and place it at the core of our product strategy.
Strengthen and accelerate our international expansion.”
Beedeez was founded in 2015 by four entrepreneur friends: Julien Huelvan, Morgan Laupies, Rémi Deh, and Quentin Brunel. The startup developed an LMS enabling companies to support the upskilling of frontline employees, namely workers who do not have individual computers.
With a team of 50 employees, Beedeez has recorded annual growth of around 50% since 2018 and already serves more than 2 million users from companies such as Groupe RATP, Vinci, Leroy Merlin, Etam, and Amorino. Its LMS business model is based on a per user licensing fee structure.
