Pitchy
Following a fundraising process led by Ader Finance, Pitchy has raised €4 million from Seventure Partners and Bpifrance.
Ader Finance acted as advisor to the company in this transaction.
Pitchy, a SaaS software publisher specializing in professional video creation for large enterprises, has completed a €3 million equity round led by Seventure Partners and the Fonds Ambition Numérique managed by Bpifrance as part of the Programme d’Investissements d’Avenir (PIA). This financing is complemented by €1 million in bank debt provided by a pool of lenders.
This fundraising is part of Pitchy’s ambitious growth plan, aimed at accelerating its commercial expansion and developing new product features.
The operation takes place in a context where professional video usage is rapidly becoming mainstream. Cisco estimates that by 2019, 90% of internet traffic will be video content, making it a key format for communicating core messages.
Pitchy disrupts the market by offering a SaaS platform that enables companies to create their own professional videos easily, up to 50 times faster, and at a cost reduced by a factor of 10 compared to traditional outsourcing models. The solution relies notably on customizable templates to achieve these efficiencies.
With more than 200,000 videos created over the past 24 months through its technology, Pitchy is experiencing rapid growth. Thanks to this funding, the company will continue to accelerate its deployment and strengthen its R&D efforts to develop new platform features and use cases.
“The Pitchy platform was designed in a test and learn approach based on feedback from our early clients (Groupe La Poste, MMA, French Tech mission, Mazars, ESSEC, Mairie du 17e arrondissement…),” explain co-founders Lionel and Benjamin Chouraqui, respectively Chairman and CEO of Pitchy. “This fundraising will allow us to accelerate our growth and roll out our new platform.”
“We are convinced that the use of video in business will continue to accelerate in the coming years. Thanks to its technological solution, Pitchy is ideally positioned to support this trend by addressing the full range of client needs,” says Thibault Canton, Investment Associate at Seventure Partners. “We were impressed by the vision of the founders and the current traction of the product. We now aim to help them structure the company for sustainable growth.”
“We have been impressed by Pitchy’s growth, achieved so far entirely through bootstrapping,” adds Marion Aubry, Investment Director at Bpifrance. “Their solution, thanks to its ease of use, massively democratizes video production and is set to become a reference professional tool.”
