Following a fundraising process led by Ader Finance, Proximis has raised €5 million to accelerate the omnichannel transformation of retail.

Proximis, a SaaS omnichannel commerce solution, has completed a €5 million funding round with Entrepreneur Venture, M Capital Partners, Alsace Capital, and its historical shareholders (3T Capital, Naxicap).

With this transaction, Proximis, ranked among the top 10 tech companies to watch in 2016, has set the following objectives:

  • expand its in-store services through tools dedicated to sales associates
  • accelerate its international development via its network of certified partners
  • double its customer base by the end of 2018

Proximis currently serves more than 80 clients with its unique SaaS omnichannel e-commerce platform, fully dedicated to brands and retailers. The solution integrates more than 100 features to help brands manage both online sales (e-commerce) and in-store sales (POS).

Based on a modular platform, Proximis’ clients benefit from services addressing immediate needs (e-reservation, click & collect, same-day delivery, etc.) while also building for the future (e-commerce, ship-from-store, sales associate tools, etc.).

“This fundraising reflects the confidence of our financial partners in a strategy initiated more than five years ago, and the alignment of our offering with the needs of brands and retailers. Their future is being decided today, and their success will depend on the agility and speed they demonstrate. In this competition, technology is more crucial than ever,” adds Philip Bianchi, CEO of Proximis.

The fundraising was led by Ader Finance, which commented on the transaction: “Given Proximis’ strategic positioning in its market, the fundraising was completed under excellent conditions with investors highly receptive to the topic. A general enthusiasm that made it possible, in just a few months, to raise an ideal amount to support the company’s ambitions,” said Pascal Mercier.
